I love helping students reach that moment where the light bulb goes off in their head and they understand a concept we've been studying. There are different ways that this occurs, and sometimes you don't know what it's going to happen, but it's always rewarding and exciting. This is my favorite part about tutoring. I specialize in tutoring science and math topics. They may seem difficult or too hard, but there are many ways to explain them, and many ways to break concepts down into segments that are easier to focus on and understand first before trying to understand the whole. Sometimes I just need to relate to a topic the student already understands for them to visualize it and have it make sense. Whatever it takes, I'm willing to put in the effort to help students succeed. I attended Austin College for my bachelor's degree in chemistry, and Tufts University for my master's degree in chemistry. I'm looking forward to pursuing my doctoral degree in pharmacy.
