I'm a teacher, librarian, writer, educator, and tutor. I have a decade of experience in education, and I work really hard to understand the perspective of each student I work with. When I work with students, I figure out their strengths and identify where they need to improve. I then build up on their strengths to help them learn the material and achieve success. I also help develop study and time management skills so that they can plan ahead and implement those plans. I assist students with subjects like history, writing, social sciences, psychology, ESL, writing, editing, geometry, world religions, study skills and organization, and test preparation for the ACT, SAT, GRE, and other exams. In my spare time, I like watching movies, listen to music, and reading.
