I graduated from Tufts at the top of my class. I completed my internal medicine residency and fellowship in hematology and oncology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Experience

Hi! My name is Brian and I am an attending physician in the Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. I am on faculty at Harvard Medical School. I have been working as a tutor in various capacities since 2006. I was a peer tutor throughout undergrad and during my first two years of medical school. Since then I have worked for several private tutoring companies. I am extremely comfortable tutoring students at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels in the subjects listed above. I am very interested in helping with test prep, especially USMLE Step 1 (254), Step 2 (262), Step 3 (247), and the ABIM internal medicine board exam. My students have consistently had excellent outcomes in terms of both grades and standardized test scores. If you think that I could help you succeed in your course or test I encourage you to send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hobbies

I like to watch and play sports, I follow all of the Boston teams. I like to read, mostly historical nonfiction. Right now I am reading an excellent book called "The Emperor of All Maladies" about this history of cancer. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in pursuing a career in medicine. Otherwise, I like to hang out with friends, try new restaurants, and travel to different places.
